Let's DNA test the shroud of Turin!

I think it would be invaluable to test the DNA of the Shroud of Turin - if we could get some of that DNA, compare it to the human DNA, see what the differences were - well, we could figure out what God's DNA would look like! Why- we could breed a race of demigods! Or inject it into someone's body a'la stem cells and heal people with maladies or solve that falling through water problem that most of us have-

Ah

Without any assistance, shortcuts or way out, the artist did his best to get to the finish line without a nervous breakdown on this daunting project. Also, he decided to ink his own pencils despite the manic deadline and lack of sleep.

Oddly enough - not about me...

The rest of MA Iron Man to be found online

That's all you get - now go out and buy the book on Wednesday.
Buy Action too, you'll see why...

The Wilhelm

Oh yes.
I nearly pissed myself when I heard it in Two Towers a few years ago. Once you know what it is, you really can't not hear it.

-more

"The Girl Next Door", I'd love to see this one, even if it's slightly off-topic... "Ripley's", although it's more in the vein of "American Splendor".

I never knew they made a movie about "How to Draw Comics the Marvel Way".

no one should leave out historical drama's about Manga

more-

"Artists and Models"

more-

"American Splendor", Mike's finds -"How to Murder Your Wife," "Chasing Amy," and the upcoming "Kavelier & Clay"

not that I have time for this-

-but I stumbled across the memory of "Condorman" today and it turns out that "Condorman" is one of the many movies where there is a comic book creator protagonist in the film.

"Protagonist" would be the last word I would ever slap onto any of the comic book creators I know, but it's rife in the popular culture - just off the top of my head there's the movies "The Hand", "Condorman", "Cool World", "Monkeybone", the tevee shows "The Bob Newhart Show", "Too close for Comfort" and I know that "The Cell", the book by Stephen King's got one in there - anybody else? Lets see if we can assemble a database of this crap - there's just too many to ignore, aren't thre?

What is it about my job that makes writers want to put it into their OWN fiction? I just sit around all day a freaked-out puddle of stress and nerves, getting fatter and less able to make decisions.

More-

Sure, why not?

Marvel B0y: hoax or menace?

Gasp-

Just a quick leap up for air-
Was fascinated that DC did not mention the project I'm working on yet - you'll know what it is if you pick up Action Comics this Wednesday-
I'm going to post the pages from the Marvel Adventures Iron Man here that have been posted on line. MA Iron Man comes out this Wednesday-
Here's pages 1 and 2-

and I am not Marvel B0y.
Not that anyone ever thought i was, since I live in L.A....

If I die before I wake-

My daughter, this morning, became upset when I walked ahead of her by a step or two. "Daddy, I want to be the leader - I want to be FIRST!" When I got to the base of the stairs first, she started pouting and became very upset. So when I die, I'd like for her to be the first one to let people know, all right?

That's it!

That's it - with my colossally stupid acceptance of another book to work on, I'm officially too busy, so with the exception of posting about The Weapon being available for free download on WOWIO, I'm going to go under for radio silence for a few weeks-

I'll let the companies market their comics - I'm in a shitload of comics this year, I'll just leave it at that. I'll be at the Hero Initiative booth at the L.A Convention on Saturday from 12:30-1:30. Hopefully the sun will out then, because that's the only time I'll be able to see it.

Signing out for March-
Scott-
Go Obama.

WOWIO!

One of the books I worked on is going to go up on WOWIO - and I'll fill everyone in on it as soon as I figure out what it is and how everyone can get it!
So - y'know... "watch this space"

INKBLOTS!

The Math- as near as I can figure it...

Obama - 1573
Clinton-1464

2025 needed to win, so he needs 452 or she needs 561. Florida is off the table (For now- and would represent some split of 210, If they went by the results that came out from the sham election it would be some split of 50/33/14/1 Clinton/Obama/Edwards/Kucinich, I think they'd have to do it over again. I definitely think they'll have to do Michigan over again - or never seat the delegates- Obama wasn't even listed on the Ballot)

So there are 11 contests left:
Wyoming this weekend- 18
Mississippi -40
Pennsylvania -188
Indiana-85
North Carolina -134
West Virginia- 39
Kentucky-60
Oregon-65
Montana-29
South Dakota- 23
Puerto Rico - 55
For a total of 736 contested state elected delegates.
there are 346 undecided Super Delegates.

The polls I've seen have him ahead in North Carolina and behind in Pennsylvania.
Assuming she wins in Pennsylvania by margins similar to Ohio, she'd be up maybe 30 delegates from her current deficit, but North Carolina might wipe most of that out. I haven't seen any polls on Mississippi or Wyoming yet.

Hey Ohio!

F- you Ohio

This may be my favorite picture of all time

I'm now one person removed from Lewis.

Another post from behind the curtain-

my favorite panel from last month--

Geoff Johns is peeking out from behind the curtain - I wonder what he's up to?

I need more sleep.

Warner's Candidate

I guess Warner Brothers is now endorsing Hillary Clinton with their characters. WTF?
