10 days from now-
10 Days from now, Marvel Adventures: Super-Heroes #20 comes out, with some pencils and inks from me in it. I'll post some pages from the preview when it posts online in 6 days or so. Here's a preview of some of the art-
Next up - finishes on X-Men: Forever issue 19, due out in March, I believe, and a secret super project that comes out a few months from now that i am VERY excited about!
Nice page from Marvel Adventures: Super-Heroes 19
Here's a nice page from issue 19 of Marvel Adventures: Super-Heroes. I helped out a bit on that issue, about 7 pages. I checked my local comic shop and they sold out of it, so I haven't even seen a copy yet. I like these characters, although I'm struggling a bit to figure out what everybody should look like in the Marvel Adventures world, should they look like their counterparts in the Marvel Universe proper or should there be slight differences? I haven't thought it through yet.
At any rate, I helped out a little on MASH # 20, scheduled for next month. It's got some great stuff going with Diablo, and I think i liked how his design turned out, I dressed him more like an 1800's alchemist than a super-villain.
Some favorite Uncanny X-Men:First Class #7 pages
Here are some of my favorite pages from Unc. X-Men: FC #7 - due on the stands tomorrow! I think these are some of my favorite pages this year - i love how page 12 turned out.
Uncanny X-Men: First Class #7!
Here is a preview of the work I've done on Uncanny X-Men: First Class #7- I really had a tremendous amount of fun working on this book, it will be missed!
I also pencilled and inked 7 pages in the Marvel Adventures Super-Heroes #19. Both of these books are on sale this coming Wednesday!
Well, it wasn't just in your head-
The

2010
Well... here we are in 2010. As a child, this was as far as I could imagine ahead in time, it was to an age where I would be older than I could contemplate, older than my dad. I find it unnerving that I couldn't imagine any further than this day.
I really fell for the future as a concept. I expected to be wearing my plastic Devo clothes and tooling around in my spaceship. I guess I have to settle for the near-elimination of Courteroy as a clothing fabric.
As far as the new year goes -I haven't the energy to wish for anything anymore, I know enough by now that the future holds it's cards tight to it's vest, so I just hope my meager skills will be enough to make it through another year. 10 years ago to this day, I left New York with Jesse, with our simple possessions and a clear assumption of an exciting future, and it was a brutal, bizarre and frequently heartbreaking world that I stepped into. I still can't really get over what the last 10 years have demanded of me, and I hope i can catch up to where I am soon. The constant insecurity of the present is getting to me.
So - off we go into another one.
Good luck everyone.
